Routine serviceMost booked
from €95
Oil and filter, air and cabin filters, fluid levels, brakes, suspension, lights, battery and tyres. You leave with a sheet saying what's fine, what to keep an eye on and what needs doing now.
Servicing, MOT prep, tyres, brakes and electronic diagnostics. We look at what's wrong, ring you with an itemised quote and don't carry on until you approve it. If something else turns up once it's open, we ring again: a part you never agreed to will never show up on the invoice.
Free courtesy car on repairs lasting more than a day, while the fleet lasts. Ask for it when you book.

2 h
to tell you what's wrong
If it comes in during the morning, we ring before lunch.
100 %
of repairs quoted beforehand
No exceptions, not even the twenty-euro ones.
2
years' warranty on our labour
Parts carry the manufacturer's own warranty.

years on calle Herreros
Prices are a guide and include VAT and labour. We give you the final one in writing after looking at YOUR car, because an oil change doesn't cost the same in a small hatchback as in a two-tonne diesel.
from €95
Oil and filter, air and cabin filters, fluid levels, brakes, suspension, lights, battery and tyres. You leave with a sheet saying what's fine, what to keep an eye on and what needs doing now.
€45 for the prep · the test fee is charged by the centre
The inspection itself is done by an authorised test centre, not by us. What we do is check beforehand what usually fails (lights, brakes, emissions, play in the suspension), book your slot, take the car there and bring it back with the report.
€18 per wheel + the price of the tyre
Fitting, balancing and a new valve. We tell you how many millimetres of tread are left and when they'll need changing: if they'll last another winter, we say so and sell you nothing.
from €120 for the front axle
Pads, discs, hoses and fluid. Before changing anything we measure the disc and give you the figure: if it's within tolerance, only the pads go in and you save half.
€35, deducted if you have the repair done here
A warning light comes on and nobody explains why. We read the control units, verify the fault on the car itself (not just on the screen) and explain in plain language what it means and what it costs to fix.
from €69 for a regas
Regas, cabin filter change and leak detection with a UV lamp. If the circuit leaks, refilling it is throwing money away: we tell you that before charging you for the gas.
We work with original parts and with approved equivalents. The quote says which one each line uses and how much the price changes between them: you choose.
Prices include VAT and labour, for a petrol or diesel car up to 2,000 cc. A big people carrier or a premium car costs more; we tell you when you book, not when you collect.
€95every 15,000 km or once a year
The one that keeps the car up to date when nothing odd is going on.
The one we recommend
€165every 30,000 km or every two years
The one for before a long trip or after buying a used car.
If a repair comes out of this, you don't pay for the diagnostics twice.
€45+ the fee charged by the test centre
We check what usually fails, book the slot and take the car in.
The inspection is done by the authorised test centre; we prepare the car and handle the paperwork.
What is NOT included in any of the three: parts found broken or worn during the check (quoted separately and phoned through before we touch them), the test centre's MOT fee and tyres. Labour is billed at €42 an hour and part hours are charged in quarters, not rounded up.
Five steps, and in the third one you're in charge. This is literally the order we work in, which is why it's written here and not on a sign at the desk.
2 minutes
By phone, on WhatsApp or from the form below. Tell us the plate, the model and what you've noticed. That's enough for us to know whether it needs half a morning or the whole day.
1-2 hours
We check what you've told us and what's visible around it. If something has to come apart just to see it, we tell you first and tell you what taking it apart costs.
The same day
One call with the itemised quote: which part, what it costs, how much labour and what happens if it isn't done. We also send it on WhatsApp so you have it in writing.
This is where you decide. If you say no, we put it back together and there's no repair to pay for.
Depends on the job
Only what was approved. If something else turns up once it's open, we ring again: there's no 'while we were in there'. Old parts are kept in case you want to see them.
10 minutes
An invoice with the same lines as the quote, not one more. We explain what was done and what to watch for next time. Two years' warranty on our labour.
Núñez Garage opened in 1994 with one lift and a toolbox. Today there are five of us, four lifts and diagnostic gear we update every year, but the way we work is the same as back then: look, phone, explain.
We're multi-brand and we say so plainly: twelve-year-old cars and two-year-old cars come in here, petrol, diesel and hybrid. What we don't do is bodywork, paint or full engine swaps; when that's what you need we tell you who to go to, instead of keeping the job just to keep the customer.

Swap these for photos of yours: a car up on the lift and a tidy work area convince people more than any sentence. And if a number plate shows, cover it.
Tell us the plate, the model and what's wrong. We confirm by phone the same working day and tell you how long it'll be here. If you need a courtesy car, ask for it here and we'll reserve one.

If yours isn't here, write to us and we'll add it.
No. We look at the car, ring you with an itemised quote and wait for your answer. If you say no, we put it back together and you only pay for the diagnostic hour if there was one. And if something else turns up once it's open, we ring again before touching it: there's no 'while we were in there' here.
No, and be wary of anyone who says they do. The inspection is carried out by an authorised test centre. What we do is prepare the car (checking what usually fails), book your slot, drive it there and bring it back with the report. If it fails on something we should have spotted, we take it back for the retest without charging for the trip.
It's charged by the test centre, not by us, and it varies by region, vehicle type and fuel. We tell you the amount in force on the day you book, and it appears separately on the invoice with its own receipt: we don't bury it inside the labour charge.
Yes, free of charge, when the repair takes more than a day and as long as one is free. There are three of them, so you ask when booking and we confirm by phone. It comes with a full tank and comes back the same; the insurance is ours.
You can, and we'll fit it charging only for the labour. What we can't do is guarantee a part we didn't buy: if it fails in three months we'll refit it free but the part is on you. We put that in writing on the quote so there are no surprises.
No, as long as the manufacturer's service schedule is followed, with the parts and oils it specifies, and the service book is stamped. That is exactly what we do: we show you the oil container and the reference of every filter before fitting them.
Two years on our labour. Parts carry their manufacturer's warranty, usually two years as well, and it's written on the invoice. If something we've touched fails again, we look at it without an appointment and without charging for the check.
Another question before you bring it in?
Write to usCars are handed over up to half an hour before closing, so we can go through the invoice without rushing. If you can't make it, it stays inside and you collect it the next day at no charge.

We close for the middle two weeks of August. We announce it in June and September's appointments open before we shut.
In the old industrial estate, behind the market. There's room to leave the car outside while you come in to talk.
Write to us with the model, the year, the mileage and what you've noticed. If you can, send a photo of the warning light or a voice note of the noise: it helps far more than a description. We reply the same working day with a rough price and a free slot.
