Monsteras, pothos, snake plants, herbs and seasonal balcony plants. We tell you the truth about the light each one needs before selling it, and if your living room is dark we suggest a different one: we'd rather sell you a plant that lives than one that dies on you in a month.

Bridal bouquet, car, church or venue, table centrepieces and arch. Worked by appointment: an hour-long meeting to look at photos, palette and budget, and a second one to close it. We hold the date with 30% and the rest is paid the week before.

We make it the same day and deliver it ourselves to funeral homes in Valencia and nearby, with the ribbon written as you ask. One phone call is enough: tell us the funeral home, the room, the time and the name, and we take care of it. You pay afterwards, by transfer or when you come by the shop.
We also do subscriptions: a bouquet every fortnight or every month, for a home or an office. Paid monthly and you can stop whenever you like.
Replace these with photos of your own bouquets as soon as you can: in a florist's the gallery is the catalogue. Shoot against a plain wall, in window light, and upload it the same day you make the bouquet.
Three sizes, and within each one we build with whatever is best that day. It's the honest way to work with fresh produce: if the peonies come in badly, we won't use them even if you saw them in a photo.

Delivery in Valencia city is €5 within the ring road and €8 in the outlying districts, and free from €45. Orders placed before 1:00 pm go out that afternoon; later ones the next morning. We don't deliver on Sundays. Before it leaves we send you a photo of the finished bouquet: if it doesn't convince you, we change it, no argument.
Five dates turn our whole week upside down. On all of them it's worth ordering days ahead, because prices rise at the market and stock runs out: it's not that we want your money early, it's that on 13 February there are no red roses left in Valencia.
14 February
Red roses treble in price at the market that week and sell out on the 12th. Order before the 8th and we'll hold them at the usual price. If you'd rather avoid roses, ranunculus and tulips look wonderful and cost half.
23 April
The rose with a wheat ear and ribbon, a classic that's popular here too. That day we set up a stall at the door from nine and sell them individually, no order needed. For companies handing them out to staff, give us a week's notice.
First Sunday in May
The busiest weekend of the year, ahead of Valentine's. On Saturday we deliver until 8:00 pm and on Sunday we open in the morning but don't deliver. Order before Wednesday and choose flowers or a plant: a plant lasts months.
1 November
Chrysanthemum week and cemetery arrangements. We take orders from 25 October and deliver to the main cemetery ourselves if you tell us the row and niche number. On the 31st and the 1st we can't keep up: order before.
December
Table centrepieces, door wreaths and poinsettias. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve centrepieces are ordered a week ahead and collected that same morning, when they're freshest. From the 24th to the 26th we open mornings only.
I opened the shop in 1998, fresh out of floristry school, with two buckets and a table. I still go to the flower market myself on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at five in the morning: it's the part of the job I don't delegate, because everything else comes from it.
I don't work with flowers flown in from far away or with strange preservatives. I buy what's there, cut it under water as soon as it arrives and tell you how long it will last before charging you. If a bouquet fails within two days and you looked after it, come back and I'll replace it: it has almost never happened, but it's said.
Send us on WhatsApp who it's for, the address, when someone is usually in and what you want to spend. We'll make it up, send you a photo before it leaves and take it round. If nobody's there we ring the recipient and try again the same day, with no charge for the second trip.
We don't deliver on Sundays, but we open in the morning and you can come and collect.
Mostly about the cut-off time, which is what trips people up.
Until 1:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. Anything after that goes out the next morning. We don't deliver on Sundays. If it's genuinely urgent (a funeral home, a hospital), call instead of writing: we can almost always squeeze it in.
You can tell us colours, style and which flowers you like, and we'll respect that whenever we have them in good condition. What we won't do is promise a specific flower without having seen it at the market that morning. If a particular flower is essential, order two days ahead and we'll bring it in.
We ring the recipient to agree another time and come back the same day at no extra charge. If there's still nobody, we leave it with the concierge if there is one, or bring it back to the shop and let you know. We never leave it on a landing in the sun.
Between five and twelve days depending on size and variety. Cut a centimetre off the stems at an angle when you get home, change the water every two days and remove any leaves below the waterline. Keep it away from direct sun, radiators and the fruit bowl: ripening fruit gives off a gas that kills flowers.
Call us and tell us the funeral home, the room, the time of the wake and the name for the ribbon. We make it and deliver it ourselves in Valencia and nearby, usually within two or three hours. You pay afterwards, by transfer or when you can come by: nobody's thinking about card machines at that moment.

Three things are enough: who it's for and what you want to say, what you want to spend and where it's going. If you have a photo of a bouquet you liked, send it: we won't copy it exactly (the flowers change every week) but it tells us a great deal about your taste.
