For the basics, four or five. For fears or reactivity, six to ten, and you'll need patience. I put the number in writing after the assessment and it doesn't change unless something new turns up.
No, and be suspicious of anyone who does. What I do guarantee is that I'll tell you the truth at the assessment: if I don't think I can help you, I say so then and give you the contact of a veterinary behaviourist.
Never. No prong, no shock, no choke. They work short term by covering up fear and give it back to you multiplied later.
I don't do board-and-train. The dog learns with you or it doesn't learn: the moment it gets home, what you do every day is what counts.
It depends. Tell me what happened, to whom and in what situation. If there was a bite that caused injury, the first step is ruling out pain with your vet, and then we start, with a basket muzzle they're already used to.
