We opened in 1996 on Calle Coso and since then we've mostly defended individuals and small companies against large ones.
Before taking a case we tell you frankly what the odds are. If a case doesn't hold up, we don't take it: wasting time is expensive for everyone.

How we charge
We don't work with open-ended budgets. In the first consultation we listen to the case, say whether it has legs and, if it does, hand over an engagement letter with a fixed price before moving a single paper.
Three ways of billing
- Fixed price per matter. The usual approach for dismissals, debt claims and inheritances.
- Monthly retainer. For companies needing advice and contracts every month.
- Partial contingency fee. A fixed part and a part tied to the result, only where the matter allows it.
Court agents, expert witnesses and fees are always billed separately and itemised in the engagement letter. There is never an invoice that wasn't discussed first.

How much is the first consultation?
Nothing. It's a 45-minute meeting where we review your documents and tell you if you have a case, the deadlines and what it would cost.
Do you work on a contingency basis?
In banking and consumer claims, yes: if we don't win, you pay no fees. In other areas we work with a fixed quote.
Can I apply for legal aid?
If you meet the income requirements, we help you apply at the Bar Association, even if we're not the ones later appointed.
How long does a case take?
A dismissal case in Zaragoza takes 4-8 months; an uncontested divorce, 6-10 weeks. We give you realistic timescales in writing.
